He served in the US Navy onboard aircraft carriers and elsewhere, and then moved on to a writing career. He’s written over forty novels, including The Red Knight from Gollancz and Killer of Men from Orion Books. His latest novel is Artifact Space, an epic space opera set in the not-too-distant future.
